At Signed by You, every product tells a story—a story of creativity, craftsmanship, and care for the planet. Today, we’re excited to introduce two unique designs that embody these values: the Special Edition Loafer and the innovative leg warmer collar for our beloved Lise ankle boot.
The Special Edition Loafer marks a milestone for us. These shoes are crafted from rescued leather, personally handpicked for its exceptional quality and fascinating origins. Each material carries its own history: the Braided Blackleather was originally intended for high-end handbags, while the Ocean Blue leather comes from a Scandinavian luxuy shoe brand’s surplus stock. These loafers blend timeless design with sustainable innovation, proving that elegance and eco-consciousness can go hand in hand.
But that’s not all we’ve been working on. Our second new product is the
The leg warmers are made from deadstock materials sourced from Fabric House, a company specializing in recycling textiles. The lining comes from recycled fleece sweaters that once kept construction workers warm on chilly outdoor jobs—making them as functional as they are cozy. Apple leather straps and three secure snap buttons allow the leg warmers to attach seamlessly to the Lise boot, offering endless styling possibilities.
Behind the scenes, every detail has been carefully crafted. The snap buttons were installed by Mohamad, a skilled Syrian craftsman at United Repair Centre, while the sewing was completed by the talented seamstresses at Level5 under the expert guidance of Simone Geerdink from mosi naaiatelier.
With these designs, Signed by You continues to push boundaries, merging fashion, sustainability, and community. Both the loafers and the leg warmer collar reflect our belief that every item we create should tell a story worth sharing—and wearing.
